Justice has been served. Adr3N4l1n, I think the only way you're going to get out of this one is by uploading a demo of you playing Kingpin ;(

"...king and i just resently played 2 dm4 and dm6 and dm2 he lost all games against me..."

"...dont wonna brag ...i think on aero king would beat me ez..."

Those are a lot of big words, but I don't see kingpin agreeing with you. It's time to back up that mouth, and be a man.

Thank you again for the story. That was very entertaining. I still contend that anyone who uplaods a demo must add a story or the demo shouldn't be available for download.

Adrenalin should re-read the story, it seems that he thinks that the storyteller got the results wrong:

adren said:

story read:
---
Blade iz like omg okay, so they go dm4, and Adr3N4l1n lays one on Blade
---

It certainly looks to me like the storyteller got it right, adren won all dm4 games, but lost everything else. What's new?

Kr33p
Alright, I'm going to clear all this shit up now without lying and without "conveniently" leaving shit out.

First of all, I really like how this demo was submitted anonymously.

Second of all, this demo did happen. Adr3N4l1n did lose to Blade on dm4, but whether or not he was trying/giving a shit when he played is an entirely different story that should be evident by watching this demo and comparing it to one of his better games vs. a challenging opponent.

Third of all,

"Adr3N4l1n was faking as Thresh, and then like was all pissed or something because his good friend Kr33p didn't like Blade because Blade beat him or something magical."

Adr3N4l1n didn't get "all pissed or something" because I didn't like the kid, in fact, Adr3N4l1n and I didn't become friends until after this demo took place. Here's what really happened:

After Blade won this game, Adr3N4l1n said something along the lines of "k, let's play a tiebreaker and I'll actually try this game". Blade sat in spectator making excuses and shit saying he didn't want to play, most likely because he wanted to leave his computer without his confidence destroyed. This is where I started saying shit to Blade, trying to get him to /join the game because I wanted to see how the tiebreaker would play out. Despite Adr3N4l1n's and my attempts to get Blade to /join, he stayed in spectator making excuses and then denying the excuses later, but he never /quit, he just kept sitting there. Adr3N4l1n and I agreed that Blade was a cunt, and we've been friends since. You can call that magical if you want, you big fairy.

Fourth of all,

"Thresh(Adr3N4l1n) plays 2 games, wins the first, and loses the second and was like wtf, and then changed his nick from Thresh to like Locktar because that was like the ultimate thing to do and it made sense because Blade would be like, "omg, it's Locktar, and I gotta play him"."

Negative. Blade eventually left the server with Drako and Adr3N4l1n and I chilled for awhile in the server where the demo took place. Then, the next day, I wake up to some private messages on IRC from Adr3N4l1n saying that he played Blade again while fakenicking as LocKtar, and Blade beat him on dm2 and still believed he was LocKtar (rofl) and then they played dm4 and Adr3N4l1n annihilated him. When the game was over, Blade told LocKtar (Adr3N4l1n) that he was "really good", and Adr3N4l1n changed his name to [Mz]Adr3N4l1n. I don't really know what happened with Blade after that, but I suspect he cried.

And that's about it. The end.

Response to First of all:
The fact that someone posted the demo anonymously or not, doesn't change the truth. You can change your name but you can't change the truth.

Response to Second of all:
Adren always says he wasn't trying when he loses to someone he thinks he should of beaten.

Response to Third of all:
Wow, Blade is such a cunt, he doesn't want to play a 3rd game, against someone that is dubiously faking as thresh. The fact that Adr3N4l1n was faking in the first place, probably left Blade with feeling uncomfortable at that point, and all he wanted to do was show he could be Adren. Why the fuck, would anyone show someone the curteousy of a third game when their opponent has been fake nicking and claiming not to try. That's totally retarded. It's not like Blade said he'd play 3 games. Who made you the judge, the jury and executioner on whether or not he plays for 3.

Response to Forth of all:
I don't see this as being inconsistent with the story. I and probably everyone else who read the story assumed that Adr3N4l1n didn't just change his name from Thresh to Locktar, and Blade immediately played him again. The fact of the matter is that Adr3N4l1n later faked as Loctar, and got another two games against Blade.

FIFTH OF ALL:

From Kr33p's demo post description:
"...Adr3N4l1n then changes his name to [MZ]Adr3N4l1n and [DZ]Blade cries."

From Kr33p's last post:
"I don't really know what happened with Blade after that, but I suspect he cried."

Now you tell us you don't know how Blade responded but when you posted the demo you claimed he did cry. It seems to me, you don't think things through very well and you make a lot of assumptions.

Response to response to first of all:

This would be a fairly valid argument if what he posted was indeed the truth, which it wasn't, you stupid twat.

Response to response to second of all:

That's most likely because it's true. I can't imagine a situation where Blade would win vs. Adr3N4l1n if Adr3N4l1n was trying. The fact that he refused to play Adr3N4l1n afterwards is pretty much evidence of him agreeing with me on this. He didn't "have to go" or "want to go to sleep" like he said he did because he stayed in the server for a good 15 minutes afterwards (and no, he wasn't AFK).

Response to response to third of all.

Yeah, Adr3N4l1n is SO fucking dubious for faking as a player who hasn't played in how many years? I totally agree. Dumbass.

"Why the fuck, would anyone show someone the curteousy of a third game when their opponent has been fake nicking and claiming not to try. That's totally retarded."

You're so right. I wonder why tournaments use the best 2/3 games format. I wonder why overtime was invented. I wonder why when two people are playing, and one person wins, but then loses the next game, they play one last game. Oh shit, I think I just realized it: They do it to determine who the definite winner is! Holy shit, what an epiphany that was. If I was playing someone who was fakenicking and telling me they weren't trying, I would want a third game to see who's really better. Why didn't Blade? Because he knew Adr3N4l1n was going to try, and Blade knew he was going to get his shit ruined. He knew this, and he wanted to leave his computer feeling good about himself, so he didn't play the third game.

"It's not like Blade said he'd play 3 games. Who made you the judge, the jury and executioner on whether or not he plays for 3."

It's usually assumed, like an unspoken agreement that when you play someone and you win one and lose one, you're going to have a tiebreaker. There is no judge, jury, or executioner involved.

Response to response to fourth of all:

"The fact of the matter is that Adr3N4l1n later faked as Loctar, and got another two games against Blade."

I'm not saying I agree with him fakenicking as LocKtar, but as the saying goes, "you do what you have to do." Adr3N4l1n wanted to have the tiebreaker, just as any normal, non-cunt would. What strikes me the hardest is that Blade didn't identify that he wasn't playing LocKtar despite the fact that he WON ON DM2. Maybe it's just me, but that level of stupidity just confounds me.

Response to response to fifth of all:

"Now you tell us you don't know how Blade responded but when you posted the demo you claimed he did cry. It seems to me, you don't think things through very well and you make a lot of assumptions."

It seems to me that you are one stupid fuck. Jesus fucking Christ, man. How the hell am I supposed to know whether or not he cried? This is, after all, the internet. I don't know what you look like behind your monitor, but I will assume that you're an ugly, obese nerd with pimples all over your greasy ass face. I don't know what Blade did when he found out he had just complimented Adr3N4l1n, his owner, but I will assume that he cried. The fact that you believed me when I first said he cried is just fucking ridiculous. Either that, or you're foreign and you just don't interpret things that well.

When I said, "...Adr3N4l1n then changes his name to [MZ]Adr3N4l1n and [DZ]Blade cries." I was deliberately making Blade look bad.

When I said, "I don't really know what happened with Blade after that, but I suspect he cried." I was still making Blade look bad, but I was doing it from a more honest approach, like I said I would in the beginning of my comment.

I really hope this is all getting through to you, because it seems like this concept just too far over your fucking head.

Hahaha, you are one HELL of a riot.

It doesn't matter who Adr3N4l1n was faking as Thresh. It was merely the fact that he was faking. I'm sure very few people show the same courtesy to a faker as they do against people who are straight up.

This is not a tournament so 2/3 rules *do not* apply. If it was a tournament at least Blade would have known who he was actually playing.

The term *cry* is used when people whine. Implying that he "cried" is the same as saying he whined, otherwise unless you were at his house, such an implication makes you sound like a total idiot. If you're insulting him, then you would say "he probably cried himself to sleep".

God damn, I think after you last double post, it is evident to everyone why you and Adr3N4l1n get along so famously. You're just like him (your maturity level is certainly the same), but with slightly better english.

People who are "straight up" (nice words btw) definitely take precedence over people who are not "straight up". However, not playing a tiebreaker is just plain lame.

"This is not a tournament so 2/3 rules *do not* apply. If it was a tournament at least Blade would have known who he was actually playing."

Of course it's not a tournament. That was only used as an example...

"The term *cry* is used when people whine. Implying that he "cried" is the same as saying he whined, otherwise unless you were at his house, such an implication makes you sound like a total idiot. If you're insulting him, then you would say "he probably cried himself to sleep"."

Alright, are you from the U.S. or not? If so, your English is fair, but you are not very good at interpreting things at all. If you're from the U.S., however, your English is pretty shitty, and you are probably mentally handicapped.

"Crying" can mean so many different things, but for that particular sentence, ""...Adr3N4l1n then changes his name to [MZ]Adr3N4l1n and [DZ]Blade cries.", it it supposed to be interpreted that he cried like a little girl. Nothing more, nothing less. No "whine" involved. If you had said he cried after he got killed with a rocket, then crying could have been interpreted as whining. I guess it all depends on the person, especially if that person is not from the U.S./is mentally handicapped.

"God damn, I think after you last double post, it is evident to everyone why you and Adr3N4l1n get along so famously. You're just like him (your maturity level is certainly the same), but with slightly better english."

The double post was an accident, as I stated in a previous comment. I'm not all that familiar with Challenge-TV, and I only started posting comments recently.

Good god your ramble on about absolutely trival matters that should be completely self-evident to anyone above the age of 5. I'm beggining to possibly mistake you for a 9 year old child or possible a male chatty kathy suffering from a case of hermaphroditism ;(

Okay, let's try and get over your Prima Donna complex by me walking you through some very simple concepts that 99% of the other readers here are capable of understanding immediately. You're friends with Adr3N4l1n who is clearly a totally awesome guy, so I will make an exception for you and talk down to your level.

I wasn't only referencing that you double posted but I was also referring to your comments inside that respective post as well. (FUCKING DUH!)

Don't even attempt to demoralize me, by peppering in insults. Do you think the people reading this thread cannot see your arguments and intelligence are full of holes and you are merely acting out and being desperate to try and protect your already crippled reputation.

You're evidently insecure about your own sense of intelligence (mind you, for good reason) so you succumb to mindless insults to try and build yourself up. You also try to engage people in trivial matters and focus on details to try and detract attention from how much of an idiot you are. You adopt a I am right, you are wrong attitude, and argue points that are absolutely ridiculous. No matter what I say, in your own mind you will always be right even though you are WRONG. The list goes on and on, with all the classic symptoms of an immature child, who thinks he's all that.

Of course the word "cry" can be grammatically used to have different meanings, you twit. So what?! The action of someone crying can only be interpreted through text-based communication by someone acting out in some fashion that resembles a whine, which is carried out by making excuses or some typed gesture that indicates they are upset. My point was, that in the context that a majority of quakeworld players use the word, it is meant to refer to someone as whining. In the manner in which you claim to be using the word, it is just plain lame and completely out of context to what's normal, yet you still expected everyone to fully understand your misplaced use of the word.

I have always gotten A's in english so your attempts to antagonize my usage of english has absolutely no effect. I'd be much more worried about your own understanding of english if I were you. I am also an honors student, which pretty much makes me immune to any intellectual insults.
Good try, but you're wasting your time with demeaning trivial arguments that just make you sound like a complete dumb-ass. Good day Sir!

What the hell are you talking about? I "ramble on" because you don't seem to grasp these so-called "self-evident" and easy to understand concepts. By the way, nice Chatty Kathy insult. That's the kind of shit kids in 6th grade would say to each other.

"I wasn't only referencing that you double posted but I was also referring to your comments inside that respective post as well. (FUCKING DUH!)"

Right. Let's take a look at this sentence, if it can even be called one:

"God damn, I think after you last double post, it is evident to everyone why you and Adr3N4l1n get along so famously."

So you think after "me" last double post, (unnecessary comma by the way, Mr. Honors English, which I am in as well) it is evident to everyone why Adr3N4l1n and I get along so famously.

Yes, I am famous with Adr3N4l1n because I accidentally double posted, and made a post afterwards to make sure everyone knew that I didn't double post intentionally. I'm not famous with Adr3N4l1n for posting demos and talking shit on Challenge-TV.

"Don't even attempt to demoralize me, by peppering in insults. Do you think the people reading this thread cannot see your arguments and intelligence are full of holes and you are merely acting out and being desperate to try and protect your already crippled reputation."

First of all, why the fuck do you constantly add in unnecessary commas? Jesus fucking Christ, you do it at least twice in every fucking comment you post. Stop.

Secondly, the whole bit about acting out of desperation and trying to protect my "already crippled reputation" --- it's the fucking internet. Believe me when I say that I don't care nearly as much as you think I do about this.

Thirdly, I love the part about the "I am right, you are wrong" attitude. I could call you a hypocrite here, but if I did, I'm not sure you'd understand and I'd have to elaborate further which would take up more time/comments/space/etc. We both have this "I am right, you are wrong" attitude, this is why we're still debating this pointless fucking shit. You fall victim to all that shit you just spewed at me about immaturity and such, and portray your hypocrisy for everyone to view. Traxler himself pointed it out, and I'm sure anyone else reading these pointless comments are picking up on it as well.

"Of course the word "cry" can be grammatically used to have different meanings, you twit. In the manner in which you claim to be using the word, it is just plain lame and completely out of context to what's normal, yet you still expected everyone to fully understand your misplaced use of the word."

The situation is this, and I hadn't really thought about it until you said this: We come from different games. You've probably been playing QuakeWorld for a long time, like most players, but I have only been playing months. I come from CS, Diablo II, WarCraft III, etc. where crying doesn't necessarily mean "whine". I've noticed other people use "cry" in this context before and I never really thought about it. Pointless to debate it any further, but you can if you want.

"I have always gotten A's in english so your attempts to antagonize my usage of english has absolutely no effect. I'd be much more worried about your own understanding of english if I were you. I am also an honors student, which pretty much makes me immune to any intellectual insults.
Good try, but you're wasting your time with demeaning trivial arguments that just make you sound like a complete dumb-ass. Good day Sir!"

I wouldn't use your good grades or your being an Honors student as a shield against criticism, because many hard-working students that aren't all that bright are Honors students, and are more than capable of getting good grades. Grades don't really measure how smart you are, but rather, how hard you're willing to work/study/rise to the occasion. They have IQ tests and such to measure how smart you are.

The overdramatizations were somewhat giggle-worthy at first, but they're not when you repeatedly use them to the point of ineffectiveness. :\

IQ tests don't even measure how smart you are. A good friend of mine, who is a psychologist, told me the following when I asked him whether he thought IQ tests measure intelligence: "IQ tests measure what IQ tests measure." Quite the tautology, but also quite true.

Sounds interesting, but hopefully you got what I meant. I threw IQ test out there for lack of a better example. To date, is there a better example than an IQ test to determine intelligence?

Traxler, you wrote:
"You say that he doesn't bother you, and that he's immature by insulting you. Then you go on a tirade for 7 paragraphs doing the same thing that you claim makes him immature."

I wrote:
"You're friends with Adr3N4l1n who is clearly a totally awesome guy, so I will make an exception for you and talk down to your level."

Traxler, I was bothered by him but not for the reasons I provided.

Kr33p,
What in world am I not grasping? You have written nothing that I have needed to concede to. Yet you have conceded twice to me. Once on the matter of faking as Locktar. You wrote:

"Don't see what's wrong with people posing as Thresh/LocKtar, because...
2. People playing dm2 as LocKtar is a laugh. Adr3N4l1n didn't fakenick as LocKtar with the intention of giving LocKtar a bad rep; he just did it so that he could get a game with Blade..."

Later you wrote:

"I'm not saying I agree with him fakenicking as LocKtar, but as the saying goes, 'you do what you have to do.'"

As well you wrote:
"This came out the wrong way :|
I should have said that there's nothing wrong with posing as LocKtar and playing dm2 and losing, because it should be blatantly obvious that you're not LocKtar, that is, if you're not a complete tool like Blade."

So by this reasoning, is there nothing wrong with people faking with your nick on challenge-tv and posting in every thread:

"47. Kr33p on 2005-12-07 23:44:25 . Email: None 666.666.666.***

I am a fucking handicap tool. Fuck me in the ass. I love having gay sex because I am a hermaphrodite creep -Kr33p"

It would probably seem obvious to most that this is not you posting such non-sense, so it should be totally okay for anyone to do it right? Their intention is not really to give you a bad rep, because everyone knows it's not you.

You also conceded that your use of "cry" may have been misrepresenting what you actually meant as you did not understand the mentality of quakeworld players due to your background.

"Thirdly, I love the part about the 'I am right, you are wrong' attitude. I could call you a hypocrite here..."

If you could point out just one statement that I could concede to, surely I would. All your rants and arguments are retaliatory responses to what I have written. You have not once made convincing arguments against me. Instead you have called me all manner of names, talked in circles, tried to make issues over trivial semantics, beated around the bush, and have done absolutely nothing towards building any sort of case in particular. You still haven't even provided any sort of conclusive reasoning to why the story posted above is in any way inaccurate.

I challenge you without any sort of convoluted non-sense to quote me on one thing I've said that is conclusively incorrect. Something that will cut to the heart of every reader, and they'll think to themselves, "god-damn he was wrong about that".

Btw, to answer your question of why I use commas unnecessarily, it is because I had this practically 100 year old english teacher for a script-writing class, and he docked me 10 marks which was an entire letter grade using the GPA 4.0 average system for not using commas in all possible instances. When he was in school he was taught that everywhere commas can be used, they are mandatory. As a result of that experience I have been habitually using commas in the same manner because I was pretty pissed about losing a letter grade.

"Kr33p,
What in world am I not grasping? You have written nothing that I have needed to concede to."

This whole shit right here:

"FIFTH OF ALL:

From Kr33p's demo post description:
"...Adr3N4l1n then changes his name to [MZ]Adr3N4l1n and [DZ]Blade cries."

From Kr33p's last post:
"I don't really know what happened with Blade after that, but I suspect he cried."

Now you tell us you don't know how Blade responded but when you posted the demo you claimed he did cry. It seems to me, you don't think things through very well and you make a lot of assumptions."

is you deliberately feigning ignorance to keep the fire burning. You understood exactly what I meant by him crying, and the fact that I decided to cool it down later because I was taking a more honest approach to the whole topic, and yet you love to argue so much that you couldn't resist the temptation to keep posting shit. This whole shit is like wrestling a pig in the mud; after awhile you realize that the pig enjoys it.

"Yet you have conceded twice to me. Once on the matter of faking as Locktar. You wrote:

The first and last comments were posted by me in the demo that I submitted, and my intentions were to make Blade look as shitty as possible. I didn't think someone would actually pull out the demo where Blade beat Adr3N4l1n, and if he said he beat him and tried to use screenshots, I'd just yell "bullshit" and "nice photoshop" at him. For this thread though, I decided to take an honest approach so that this whole shit would be over and done with, but as you can see, it was a pretty futile attempt. I didn't agree with Adr3N4l1n fakenicking as LocKtar when I said I didn't give a damn about it, but like I said, that demo and all the comments contained in it were done with the sole purpose of making Blade look like shit.

Thinking that way isn't showing much forethought to going to events like QuakeCon, and other game events and tournaments. Video games are only going to become increasingly popular. There is already video game awards being hosted by the likes of Samuel L. Jackson. You can ask players like !phil, Kovaak, fe4r etc etc, if playing QW and posting on qw community sites is "just" the internet. If you ever want to compete at a LAN game or at some point make some sort of an in person appearance to an event, and everyone thinks you're a fucking tool, then you might want to rethink your position on this matter. You probably didn't even consider that I possibly lift weights professionally, and weigh 359lbs. Wouldn't it be nice for you to meet me at an event? Oh, but you're too cool for that right? Tournaments and video game events is just a room full of sweaty nerds who have nothing better to do? Is Samuel L. Jackson a sweaty nerd? There are lots of things that I think you should concede to, but as we're both headstrong and "I'm right you're wrong" types of people, it's totally and completely worthless. I don't want to just ditch this argument altogether, though, because I'm the one who started it. It's not right, but I'm going to do it anyway, because I'm tired of typing shit, looking at past arguments to see what was written, etc. I'm bored already. It was fun at first, but I'm done. GG.

"I challenge you without any sort of convoluted non-sense to quote me on one thing I've said that is conclusively incorrect. Something that will cut to the heart of every reader, and they'll think to themselves, "god-damn he was wrong about that"."

Too lazy. Sick of typing challenge-tv.com into my browser to check the latest status of this argument. I'm done.

Well ain't that just fuckin' dandy.

"You can ask players like !phil, Kovaak, fe4r etc etc, if playing QW and posting on qw community sites is "just" the internet. This is why I said it's the internet. If I did become serious about gaming (wouldn't be QuakeWorld because there aren't any tournaments anymore, and LANs happen once a year maybe in the USA) I could simply change my username. If I was as well known as Vo0 or Fatal1ty and I started acting like a tool, it would be much different.

"You probably didn't even consider that I possibly lift weights professionally, and weigh 359lbs. Wouldn't it be nice for you to meet me at an event? Oh, but you're too cool for that right? No, I didn't think in a million years that I'd be talking to a 359 lb professional weightlifter named "oneshotflinch" on Challenge-TV. As for meeting you at an event, I know with 100% certainty that it will never happen because

1. QuakeWorld events never happen
2. I wouldn't be going to the events anyway
3. If the said event did happen, I'd most likely be playing a different game, or would be done with gaming.

QuakeCon 2005

Things still are happening with QW. Aside from that, how about if you started playing Q4 which was recently released. I can guarantee you, there's going to be a lot of qw players playing Q4 and there's going to be a hell of a lot of events.

I not only know of this tournament, I'm in it. However, it's online, and therefore does not quite fall under the "event" category we were talking about, because I can not meet your 359 lb ass at it.

"QuakeCon 2005
http://www.quakeworld.us/?a=home&news_id=1"

Like I said, one LAN/event happens *MAYBE* once a year for QW. I still remember when I first started and Traxler said he went to QuakeCon 2005 and said he got to meet tons of people he had known for years and whatnot for the FIRST TIME. This should tell you something.

"Things still are happening with QW. Aside from that, how about if you started playing Q4 which was recently released. I can guarantee you, there's going to be a lot of qw players playing Q4 and there's going to be a hell of a lot of events."

Not really. AC2's going to end and QW is going to be lonelier than ever. As for Q4, I said in a previous post that it would take a simple change of my alias to not be known in the Q4 world, even by QW players. If I did decide to get competitive with Q4, which is seeming even more every day like a horrible thing to do, as I just read earlier today about OpenAL and how it's going to cost 150$ for a card that won't lag the shit out of your system, etc., I would simply change my alias to something else, and not be a crazy shit talker that posts demos like this.

However, so far, QW has been for shits and giggles, with no future professional career in mind whatsoever, mainly due to the fact that it's impossible to be a pro QW player. :)

Those so called "HUGE posts" takes me no time at all to write. I'm also a very fast reader, so possibly what seems like a lot to you, isn't much to me.

It seems to me that you're implying that people limit the size of their posts to cater to you because you find so called "HUGE posts" offensive, especially in light of "certain types" of subject matter. If you get off your high horse you might discover that the world doesn't revolve around just you and your individualized way of thinking.

What I really don't understand is what you expect from me, and why you wish to pursue conversing any further.
