this is comedy, plain & simple ...
watched jam's chad - he doesn't really know where to go, what to protect or to attack, doesn't realize getting a lg at one point, has bad luck with people spawning and snatch away the guns he's waiting for ... everything entertaining by itself .. but this turns into pure comedy, when all of a sudden, with 4 mins to play, a 40 frags lead & no apparent reason at all they decide to hide ... so they do, seem to be thrilled to the bone & discuss hiding places, or call for the one & only ingenious tactical move: get shaft & discharge... this misconception of a tdm-map should be good for some more laughs in the course of sd6 ... feed me!!!!!

Hiding and discharging can be a tactical part. A very interesting one, too, that isn't necessary on all maps.

sure, np with that, but have a look for yourself & you'll see what I mean ... and I didn't want to be rude - it was just so god damn funny, so I appreciate ... only thing serious though: this isn't really a map suited well for 4o4

=)

it's not a good 4on4 map and everybody knows it. why it has been a smackdownmap has always been followed by a questionmark, but it's the admins that decide and not the players :\

The map was _VOTED_ into the mappool several seasons. It's just this season that it was voted in by admins and not players. And why? I don't know, my guess is that it was the way to keep CMT maps out of the pool.

And I strongly disagree. e2m2 is a great map. It offers many tactical possibilities that "normal" 4on4 maps don't have (which you can clearly see in this demo).

in the long run the delicate intricacies of qw-hiding-galore *could* become a little less interesting ... Of, course, I didn't do a thorough scientific research, it's just a rather bold assumption, but we'll see that, I suppose ...

well, it would sure be interesting to see some good 4on4 on the E4Mx maps, but maybe it's just me

nah, it would be interesting for sure; but, to be serious for once, so far I do not see the potential in this particular map - maybe some teams who actually *do know* the map just have to prove ...
and I sure as heck am looking forward to any "new" map which is entertaining to play/spectate just to get away from this motherfukking tb3-only-bullshit... this "ultraconservative" attitude of the big guns in qw nowadays is boring to tears
